Since 2019, Special Service Area #33 has recognized local organizations that have been in business for 15+ years as neighborhood Legacy Businesses.
Every year, we recognize these staples in our community at our Legacy Business Celebration and in our Legacy Business Map, which can be seen below.
Starting in 2023, we launched the Legacy Business Awards, where Chicagoans can vote for their favorite WPB Legacy Businesses among a number of categories, and the winners accept their award at our Legacy Business Celebration.
