Around the Coyote 2007 Fall Arts Festival

October is Chicago Artists Month and the Around the Coyote 2007 Fall Arts Festival kicks off with a special Opening Party on Thursday, October 11th from 8pm to 12pm at the Around the Coyote Gallery 1935 1/2 West North Avenue. Tickets are $20 and include complimentary food and beer by Peroni.
The weekend long festival features local gallery exhibitions, literary performances, theatre, film, music and video presentations. Over 300 painters, sculptors, photographers, installation artists and printmakers join up with emerging artists from Chicago’s theatre, music, literary and film communities to offer a weekend packed full of exhibits, lectures, art tours and performances.
Festival tickets: Festival Day Pass $10 (includes all parties, visual art, literary, film, music and theatre venues all day long.)
All-Access Weekend Festival Pass $40 (includes Opening night party and all venues all weekend long.)

Red Dog House, Bucktown’s premiere dog boutique invites you and your four-legged friend to join pet expert Charolotte Reed (author The Miss Fido Manners Complete Book of Dog Etiquette: The Definitive Guide to Manners for Pets and Their People) for an intimate disucssion of pet etiquette. Reed will lead a general discussion of pet etiquette and grooming, as well as answer specific questions dealing with some of the more common “pet peeves”. Signed copies of her book will be available for sale. *Miss Fido asks that attendees bring a blanket or towel for their dog and their grooming brush or comb and toothbrush.

Red Dog House announces its Second Annual Howl-oween Haunt October 31st,
where costumed pets can get a free souvenir photo and frame, and do a trick
to get a treat.
Chicago, October 2007 — Red Dog House, Bucktown¹s favorite dog gear and
accessories boutique at 2031 North Damen Avenue, will host its second annual
Howl-oween Haunt with their Great PUP-kin Polaroid Pop-In on Wednesday,
October 31st from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Bring your costumed canine in to Red Dog House for a free Polaroid picture
of your pet in a souvenir frame. Costumed dogs can do a trick to get a
special treat.
In keeping with Red Dog House owners Steve and Marice Greenberg¹s
philanthropic pet philosophy that a portion of every event hosted at Red Dog
House will benefit a local animal organization, a percentage of the proceeds
from purchases made during the Great PUP-kin Polaroid Pop-In will be donated
to New Leash On Life, www.nlol.org
